The word karma refers to a special instance of the law of cause and effect, according to which all of our actions of body, speech, and mind are causes and all our experiences are their effects. With such wisdom we can understand why bad things happen to good people, and good things happen to bad people. Each performed actions in previous lives that later result in their individual experiences. What is most important to realize is that our karma is not fixed – we can completely nullify the power of negative karma to produce suffering. Unfortunately, the opposite is also true. We can destroy our positive karma and thus never experience its good results. Change your karma for the better today!

In general, death is a taboo subject. Everyone wants to avoid death, but no one can. One of the main strategies to try and avoid death is to ignore it until if finally and inevitably arrives. Such strategies are very foolish, because we will almost certainly die in a negative state of mind. As a result we shall have no choice but to experience an unfortunate rebirth. In contrast, if we deeply and correctly accept our own mortality, we can die not only peacefully, but joyfully. This will guarantee excellent results. This course will explore all aspects of death, as well as what specific things we can do to help others die fearlessly and peacefully.
