Human beings generate countless desires over the course of their life time. These desires range from wholesome and appropriate, to neutral, to inappropriate and negative. It is these last type of desires that are extremely destructive for both our self and others. Often such desire is not recognized as being self destructive and is indulged in frequently and without restraint. Although we may feel that the uncontrolled desires listed below are not within our own personal experience, if we investigate carefully we shall discover that we do suffer to greater or lesser degrees from this lack of control. Thus, we inadvertently create unhappiness for our self. Learn how to identify and abandon such extreme thinking and its painful results.
